B&B da Sandruta is located a few steps from the city centre. Behind the monastery, an ancient post office was converted to accommodate guests in a charming location, the perfect environment for art and tranquility aficionados. Cormòns represents the ideal place for those who love nature walks, wines and gastronomic specialties of the Friuli. It is also an excellent starting point to visit Slovenia, the mountains of Carnia, the Adriatic, and the artistic cities of Padua, Verona, Venice and Treviso. Thanks to good road links, Udine, Gorizia and Trieste are at your fingertips.
B&B da Sandruta offers its guests a breakfast with exclusively organic products. Jams and cakes are prepared at home by the owners, while milk, butter, eggs, fruits, etc. , come from carefully-selected local farms. It is possible to arrange, upon request, and the use of a washing machine for the guests.
The quadruple room has three windows overlooking the garden and the monastery’s kitchen gardens. The matrimonial bed and the furniture are from a palazzo in Trieste and they date back to the early 1900s. A wardrobe and a chest of drawers are provided. The bedroom is very spacious and has an en-suite bathroom. Additional guests can be accommodated through the provision of a second or third bed, upon request.
